The pictures you will be seeing are of the final moments of various pets with their respective owners taken by a very talented photographer and filmmaker, Ross Taylor. He is based in Denver and is working as a professor at the University of Colorado Boulder. He has also been a fellow at the Center for Western Civilization, Thought and Policy based at the University of Colorado Boulder.
These pictures are a part of his new series of photographs title “Last Moments”. In this series, Taylor’s focus has been on a certain kind of trauma in a person’s life who owns a pet. Every pet owner has to go through this trauma at one point or another in his life. The loss of a pet who has been a part of a family is nothing less than trauma in itself. it is exactly like losing any other beloved member of the family.
For this particular series of photographs, Taylor sought help from licensed veterinarians, who let him save the final, emotional moments of pets with their owners with the help of his camera. These

Explaining the concept behind these pictures, Taylor stated, “The focus of Last Moments, in part, is to help those going through this process to know they’re not alone, and that their grief should not be overlooked, nor minimized by others.”
